Andrew, as a founding Director of MCA Engineering, has over 30 years’ experience in providing complex solutions to the mining, engineering and construction industry. During this time, Andrew had attained extensive knowledge of Mines Shaft operation. Andrew is now a highly sought after consultant who provides the technical expertise through all conceptual design, fabrication, construction and installation processes to assist your needs.
Paul, as a founding Director of MCA Engineering, also has 30 years’ experience in the mining and construction industry. Paul’s extensive knowledge of the mechanical aspects of mines equipment and machinery has resulted in Paul interacting with clients as a design and innovative solution specialist. Paul’s main objective is to always create a system for clients that is both “effective in function” and “efficient in minimising cost”.
Toby is a practical person from a mechanical fitter background specialising in mines shaft and underground work. Toby joined the MCA team in 2008 and moved through the trade/supervisory roles. MCA identified quickly Toby’s capability to lead and excel within the mining industry. In 2012, Toby became MCA Queensland Operations Manager. For 18 months, Toby oversaw MCA’s unprecedented growth throughout Queensland, and in 2014, Toby moved into a Project Management role and oversaw MCA’s largest project ever, the Glencore Crude Ore Refurbishment Project. In 2015, Toby has now moved into his new role as MCA Group Operations Manager, in control of MCA Operations, Australia-wide.
Phil has over 15 years financial and commercial experience working across a number of sectors including manufacturing and financial services. Phil joined MCA in 2015 and brings with him a rounded experience in financial reporting, business modelling and all round financial and business management to assist the growth potential of MCA Engineering Group. Phil has a degree in Commerce from the University of Newcastle and an MBA from UNE and is a member of IPA Australia.
